Stephen Ali has over 25 years experience in traditional upholstery and fabric walling. After finishing an apprenticeship in upholstery and cabinet making, Stephen went on to work for one of the most prestigious antique galleries in the world, Partridge Fine Arts. It was here that Stephen went on to perfect his upholstery skills and master the art of silk walling.
After his time at Partridge Fine Arts Stephen began his own business, commissioning work from world renown companies such as Mallett, Ronald Phillips, W.Thomas Restorations, Hatefields, Dorethy Draper Inc and Colefax & Fowler to name but a few.
From his Sussex workshop Stephen continues to restore and conserve some of the most important private collections of furniture from across globe.
